Gatewood Elementary is an art magnet.
The environmental art of Andrew Goldsworthy inspired the design of the Stepping Stones preschool play yard.
Fireflies Play Environments Inc. and Pioneer Engineering created a play glen with a stone, sand and water play structure, a prairie cul-de-sac, trike track, bridge, play cottage, and native plantings.
The School has embraced the play yard by adding more plants, a circle of peace stones and environmental art.
